Rain shelf: Rowbuy Spreadsheet picks for wet days out
Four pieces judged by seams and closures. The shell claims fully taped seams; the shoe covers are sold in sizes the English menu calls pieces.
What a wet day asks of cheap gear
Rain gear is all claims. Waterproof, fully taped, level eight: none of it can be seen from the outside, so the checks on this shelf are about finding the evidence in a photo. A taped shell shows tape on the inside of its seams. A phone pouch shows a double seal. Shoe covers show a sole with grip and a tall enough shaft.
None of the four rain picks had a bottom line above the tag. That makes this the easiest shelf to order from and the hardest to judge.
Slips on the rain shelf
Prices are Rowbuy's reading of the Taobao tag in yuan, with its own dollar conversion, on October 24, 2026. The bottom line is the product amount Rowbuy showed for whatever size and colour the page selected by itself. Seller photos may carry the shop's own watermark.

Check: Sizes XS to 3XL, preset on XS in ivory white. Only 29 were in stock. The title claims fully taped seams, which is worth asking about before paying.

Sizing notes for the rain pieces
The shell is a layer that goes over other clothes, so size up one from your usual letter if you plan to wear it over a fleece. The shoe covers need to fit over shoes, not feet: choose the size above your shoe size, so a European 41 shoe goes into the 43 entry. The caps are adjustable and fit most adult heads.
Photo requests for rain gear
The single most useful photo on this shelf is the inside of the shell at the shoulder. Taped seams show as a strip of tape over the stitch line; untaped seams show bare stitches. If the tape is missing, raise it before shipping, which is when Rowbuy says it can help arrange a return with the seller.
The general order we read photos in is on the photo checks page.
Parcel weight on a rain haul
A shell packs small, the cap and pouch weigh almost nothing and the shoe covers fold flat. This is a cheap shelf to post, and a good one to combine with a bulky coat from the commute shelf so the box is full rather than air.
